Women who suffer from alcohol addiction and who are searching for an alcohol rehab center to help them with their problem would do well to find a center that treats women exclusively. The reason for this is simple: women and men are different and treatment for their addictions should be different as well. In fact, everyone is different and she should find a program that can cater to her specific needs. Women should find an alcohol rehab center that not only focuses on their addiction to the alcohol, but one that can treat other problems as well, such as depression or any other unhealthy behavioral pattern from which they may suffer. Sometimes the chemical dependency can be brought on or triggered by emotional issues. By treating all of the woman’s issues, it becomes easier to get her back on track to living a healthy lifestyle without the addiction.

While your article is much needed, I have a problem with your stating that Women’s Alcohol problems differ from Men’s. Perhaps they do !?!
I can only relay my own personal experience with the Scourge of this world !!!
BOTH my late husband & I, drank socially, friends, family, work mates, but never off sick days at all, never drunk, never binged. This went on for 30 yrs. Then all of a sudden, we were BOTH HIT at the SAME AGE, with severe Grand-Mal Seizures!
ONLY FROM DRINKING !!!!! D R I N K I N G A L C O H O L !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our lives were completely thrown into oblivion !!! As suddenly, we couldn’t WORK !
Therefore no MONEY ! It’s NOT DIFFICULT TO GIVE UP SOMETHING THAT HAS TRIED TO DESTROY YOUR LIFE ?!?!? is it ? No, it’s not.
We ALL must make attempts to somehow convince ALL Governments, that we need MANDATORY HEALTH WARNING LABELS, largely displayed on ALL liquor containers, similar to what’s been done to Cigarettes. Which I’ll just mention, we both smoked the entire time, and last X-Ray showed our lungs were clear as a BELL !!!
THEREFORE, let’s stop worry-gutting about cigarettes, and concentrate on our REAL PROBLEM………………ALCOHOL !!!!!!!!!
