Included in our program is also an extremely comprehensive and individualized drug rehabilitation aftercare plan for each client, designed to provide a strong and capable support network upon which they can rely to help with the often difficult transition back into sober daily life. We believe this "net" to be crucial to a recovering person's ability to succeed once they have left the more "closed" residential rehab environment. Outpatient and continuing care program recommendations, therapeutic referrals and local support group meeting directories are just some of the resources offered within each client's personalised aftercare plan.
Drug Rehabilitation Aftercare Alumni
As part of our dedication to continuity of care, all Harmony Place clients are invited to participate in our Alumni Group, which serves to help maximize improvement and functioning, while minimizing regression and relapse. Once each month, our alumni are welcomed to return back to Harmony Place for an evening of supper, guest speakers and fellowshipping with other Harmony Place alumni and current residents. Alumni are encouraged to share their experience, strength and hope with one another, as well as to help others newer on the road to recovery reinforce sobriety for themselves.
